Heydar Aliyev, an 11-year-old schoolboy from Azerbaijan, became the owner of nine waterfront mansions in Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah, a luxury real estate development popular with multimillionaires, stars and others with cash to burn, the Washington Post reports.
These nine waterfront mansions cost nearly $44 million, roughly 10,000 years' worth of salary for the average citizen of Azerbaijan, according to the paper.
Heydar Aliyev’s name, date of birth and other data go with name, date of birth of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliev’s son.
Meanwhile, officials from Baku denied to comment how a boy, who is probably a son of Azerbaijan’s President, or even if not, but just a preteen from Azerbaijan, appeared to be an owner of luxury mansions at Palm Jumeirah.
It’s worth mentioning, that according to the paper, Ilham Aliev’s salary is nearly $228,000 per year, not enough to buy even the smallest property in the luxury zone of Dubai.
